The touch-me-not sponge
The touch me not sponge reproduces through a process called spawing. Spawing is the deposit of eggs into the water to be fertilized. The touch me not sponge can also reproduce through regeneration. Regeneration is when fragments of sponge that have broken off from other sponges fuse together and grow to form another organism that will be able to reproduce.
