Phylum Nematoda
Nematoda, also known as roundworms, is a phylum describing a large group of certain animals that inhabit a long range of environments around the world. The estimated amount of nematode species rounds up to one million, with nearly half of them being parasitic. Compared to flatworms and cnidarians, nematode digestive systems have tubular openings have two openings. The nematoda phylum has been shown to share a common ancestor with the Nematomorpha phylum as well. Nematode reproduction is also usually sexual.
